In 2016 EVWC had asked Process Interventions LLC to assist with optimizing the project management processes of their initial 14 project sites. Being impressed with their vision, mission, and active projects that were helping the community recover from the 2013 flood, Dawn joined the EVWC Board in 2017. She has held EVWC positions of President, Vice President, and Treasurer throughout seven years of service and averages 600 volunteer hours annually. While serving her last two-year term, Dawn will continue to support EVWC as Treasurer.
Dawn and her husband Rick started building their home in Estes Park in 2011 and officially made Estes Park their home in 2013. She enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and giving back to family and community. Dawn has obtained two Six Sigma Black Belt certifications and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Industrial Engineering and Material and Logistic Management from Kettering University, formerly GMI Engineering and Management Institute located in Flint, Michigan. Former employers include Honeywell International, Whirlpool, United Parcel Service, and General Motors.
