CLUB SERVICE/ADMINISTRATION: Kerrie Hill, Director AUDIT COMMITTEE – Review accounting records, procedures, and internal controls. Reports to board by September 30 each year. AWARDS – Select for recognition of club members who have made major continuing contributions to the club. Awards include Outstanding Rotarian, Spirit Award, Service Above Self, Community Service Award, and any special recognitions. CHAPLAIN - The Chaplain’s committee is responsible for weekly invocations, memorials to deceased members and remembering members and their families who are in times of need. The club Chaplain is also available as a resource to club members. GREETERS – Arrange for two Rotarian Greeters at each regular meeting. INTRODUCTIONS - Secure members to introduce visiting Rotarians and guests weekly. MEETING SUPPORT/FOOD SERVICES – Work with Other Side Restaurant to negotiate contracts, special food requests, and contracted services. MUSIC –- Schedule song leaders for each meeting and related events to provide inspiration and enjoyment through music and singing. * PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE - Responsible for communications related to club activities. SERGEANT AT ARMS (Bill Lodge, Chair) - Set up for all meetings. Responsible for all physical concerns of the facility. *SOCIAL ACTIVITIES - Plan and coordinate the club social functions. Promote partner, family involvement in Rotary activities, including random mixer functions. Organizes annual “Changing of the Guard” President’s night. SPOKE –- Prepare a review of each week’s clubs meeting for inclusion in the following week’s newsletter. Work with the Rotary Office on the content and format of the Spoke newsletter. TECHNOLOGY - Handle all technology necessary to support the club's web page, membership database, directory, etc. and to support the guest speaker with any audio or visuals needs that might be required. * Major Committees—Every Rotarian should be on one of the club’s major committees and at least one other committee. |
