Promotes high ethical standards in all occupations; recognizes the worthiness to society of all useful occupations; contributes individual vocational talents to the problems and needs of society; and model to all youth through our individual and collective business, professional and personal relationships. Kris Hazelton, Director AFTER PROM - Coordinate with the Sunrise Rotary Club a safe place for youth to meet and socialize after the High School prom dance. ESTES PARK SINGS - A musical benefit to help raise money for the local Rotary Foundation Scholarship program. GOLF TOURNAMENT - Plans, coordinates, and publicizes annual golf tournament. Fundraiser for the Rotary Foundation Scholarship program. INTERACT - Coordinate with the Sunrise Rotary club in assisting High School students with their own local Interact Club. Works with high school Interact Club (students ages 14 - 18.) LITERACY - Implement and participate in community literacy program, establish written criteria & guidelines outlining club participation in programs promoting reading and literacy within the community. RYLA - Coordinate with Sunrise Rotary in selection of high school students to participate in the Rotary Youth Leadership Award Camp. SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS - Review annual foundation program to establish written guidelines and criteria governing the procedures leading to the selection of recipients of our club's scholarships. VOCATIONAL MENTORING - After evaluating youth needs relating to career counseling and development, plan and implement a project appropriate for Estes Park youth. |
